Jimena Prado

Analyst | ESG – Jimena joined IWC´s Timberland Investment Advisory as ESG Analyst in 2022. She is involved with ESG performance analysis and reporting under the EU taxonomy, especially regarding new environmental markets, social considerations, sustainability policy consequences, and certifications in forestry investments.

Jimena holds a double MSc in Sustainable Forest and Nature Management from Georg-August University, Germany and Copenhagen University, Denmark. Before joining IWC, Jimena worked within sustainable forestry, with focus on the Amazon jungle for the Agricultural Ministry of Peru, and then analyzing the social impacts of REDD+ projects and carbon markets in tropical countries for the Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR).
