Travis Funk

Senior Manager | Due Diligence & Portfolio Management | Larix Laricina, LLC – Travis joined IWC’s Timberland Investment Advisory team in June 2024 and has responsibility for manager and asset acquisitions due diligence and selection on behalf of clients, as well as the ongoing evaluation of existing mandates in relation to client objectives. Larix Laricina, LLC is an external consultancy company, whose staff is working for the Timberland Investment Advisory team in IWC, based out of Minnesota.

Before joining IWC, Travis spent nearly a decade working for two large US-based timberland investment management organizations, where he was responsible for implementing, monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on client investment strategies across the US, Australasia, and South America. Prior to that, he worked as a researcher for the University of Minnesota’s Department of Forest Resources in collaboration with the US Forest Service.

Travis holds an MSc in Natural Resources Science & Management from the University of Minnesota, where he studied Forestland economics and policy.
